The Center for Health Equity Speaker Series will host Dr. Thomas LaVeist September 23, 2008. Dr. Thomas will speak on the topic "Why African Americans Live Sicker and Die Younger". A reception with light refreshments will be held 5-5:30 p.m. prior to the presentation, and a discussion will follow the presentation.
