UofL’s online Superintendent Certification prep courses are designed to help educational administrators and leaders prepare for the Kentucky Superintendent Certification from the Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB).
Achieve your career advancement goals and ease the transition to district leadership with UofL’s Superintendent Certification prep courses delivering the leadership, managerial and analytical skills needed to effectively lead public and private school systems. The four courses in the program have been assembled to prepare aspiring superintendents for their Kentucky superintendent application. There is no certificate or degree issued from UofL for the completion of the online superintendent courses. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible for the School Superintendent endorsement on their professional certificate through the EPSB.
The Superintendent Certification courses are offered by the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD) at the University of Louisville and meet the requirements of the EPSB for superintendent certification.
This unique program is built around the superintendent certification competencies required by the Education Professional Standards Boards (EPSB). Students will be immersed in an online learning environment called Strut, which is designed around competencies where students can see how they are progressing toward completion.
"The Superintendent Certification is really the capstone piece for your career as an educator. Completing the certification can open a lot of doors for you professionally, and these courses will prepare to successfully lead any district in Kentucky."
This program is ideal for those looking for Kentucky Superintendent Certification prep, with the goal of pursuing school district leadership and superintendent positions. Ideal candidates are seasoned educators and professionals who are ready to take their passion for leadership and governance to the district level.
