If you are on active duty, all courses are $250 per credit hour regardless of whether you’re taking undergraduate or graduate courses.* This is covered in full by Armed Forces Tuition Assistance (TA) offered to eligible members of the Army, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Check with your particular branch of service to determine criteria for eligibility and the application process.
Fall 2010, spring 2011 and summer 2011 online learning tuition costs: Active-duty* Servicemembers** $250 per credit hour Undergraduate course $460 per credit hour Graduate course $660 per credit hour NOTE: If you are on active duty and are applying for admission, be sure to contact us so we can ensure you are charged at the appropriate rate. Tuition for online courses is the same for both in-state and out-of-state students. You will be charged in full for online courses according to the above rates even if taking a full-time course load. Online courses are charged separately and in addition to any regular (non-online) courses you may be taking. If you're receiving a tuition scholarship, check the monetary value to determine whether the cost of online courses is covered. Courses offered online and charged according to the rates above are designated in the schedule of courses. To see online courses only, select "Distance Education" in the location field. *Active-duty is defined as on orders for 180 days or more. **Beginning Spring 2012, the $250/credit hour rate also applies to Reserve Component Servicemembers who are receiving Department of Defense Title X tuition assistance funds (federal assistance only, not state tuition assistance).
