Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness - Jan to April 2008 schedule

Presbyterian Community Center and Harambee Nursing Clinic Annual Neighborhood Health Fair

  • Date: March 24, 2008
  • Time: 11 am - 3 pm
  • Location: Presbyterian Community Center, 731 S. Hancock St.

Screenings will include those for cholesterol, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, dental and vision problems, memory problems, depression, HIV/AIDS and hearing loss.

The fair also will provide information on community resources for cancer, heart disease and stroke, nutrition, mental health, ways to stop smoking, kid’s safety, the Louisville Free Public Library and UofL admissions.

Free refreshments will be provided.

The health fair is sponsored by the University of Louisville School of Nursing Alumni Association, Harambee Nursing Center, the Presbyterian Community Center and University Hospital
