UofL research group wins award at international perinatal mental health conference

Krista Vogt, undergraduate nursing research scholar, with the winning UofL poster at The International Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health conference.

A University of Louisville research group won the best poster award at The International Marcé Society for Perinatal Mental Health conference, held in Melbourne, Australia, Sept. 26-28. The poster, which presented the impact of evidence-based guidelines for educating new mothers about postpartum depression in the hospital setting, was presented by undergraduate nursing research scholar Krista Vogt.

Other researchers who contributed to the poster include Deborah Davis and John Myers from the UofL School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, School of Nursing Professor M. Cynthia Logsdon, UofL Hospital nurse Felicia Hogan, and Diane Eckert, clinical manager of the Mother Baby Unit at the UofL Center for Women and Infants.
