Assistant professor graduates Duke-Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Program

Assistant Professor Beverly Williams Coleman, a fellow in the Duke-Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Program, successfully completed the one year program in April.

Program components included intensive leadership retreats, distance-based learning activities, executive coaching and a transformational health leadership project.

The Duke-Johnson & Johnson Nurse Leadership Program is a partnership between Duke University School of Medicine, Duke University School of Nursing and Johnson & Johnson. The program provides leadership development for advanced practice nurses to enable them to effectively address the health needs of their communities – especially that of vulnerable populations. Program graduates are equipped with improved leadership and management skills that enable them to be effective change agents within their practice settings and the evolving health care environment.
