• On completion of the required course work students are eligible for board certification as clinical nurse specialists or nurse practitioners in psychiatric-mental health nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. • Our program is unique from any other PMH programs in Kentucky in that it serves urban and rural, severe mental illness, populations with physical and mental health co-morbidities and those with English as a second language. Our current students come from all over the state of Kentucky and we pride ourselves on being “user-friendly” for our out-of-town students.
  

• Our faculty commitment to diversity is integrated as a core component of our curriculum. We currently have an active diversity plan in the School of Nursing that is congruent with the mission of the University.
