International Learning Opportunities for Nursing Majors

Global Health Scholar Program

The Global Health Scholar Program provides the opportunity and incentive for University of Louisville advanced practice nursing students to pursue their passions for global health through the completion of a directed program of activities that prepares students with a foundation for global health care practice.   The student will participate in didactic classroom lectures, analyze and discuss required readings, participate in medical learning experiences abroad, and complete a capstone project focused on global health issues.

Global Health Lecture Series

Below are the dates and times for the Global Health Lecture series.  Faculty and students are invited to attend these free inter-professional lectures that are held on selected Tuesdays at noon in HB 202.  These lectures are provided by a variety of faculty and are part of the requiremetns for the new Global Health Scholar Program.  Please feel free to share this information.
