The Nurse Residency Program is a collaborative effort between the University of Louisville School of Nursing and University of Louisville Hospital.  The goal of the program is to provide a smooth transition from the ending of a BSN educational experience to clinical competence within the first year of practice.
 
This first-of-its-kind program in the region is in its first year at University of Louisville Hospital.  15 recent graduates from University of Louisville Nursing School, now working at the hospital, are involved in the year-long program.
