Overview
Program Description
The severe shortage of nursing professionals in the country, state and region has encouraged many college graduates with non-nursing bachelor’s degrees to pursue a career in the field of nursing.
Individuals with a college degree have demonstrated success in higher education and are an excellent group to recruit into professional nursing.
Each student follows a program based on previous education and experience. Students take pre requisite courses through the Lower Division, and then complete the nursing courses through the Upper Division in an accelerated progression of two summers and two semesters (15 months). The entire program typically takes two years to complete.

You can park in the North lot next to Davidson Hall where the session is located but you must request a parking pass because the lot is restricted to U of L parking permits. This permit will allow parking in the lot on 3rd and Cardinal if the North Lot is full. Take Cardinal to 3rd, turn left on 3rd Street and the blue lot is on your right. You can email me at bkbail01@louisville.edu in advance with your request for a pass to print and place on the driver’s side of your dashboard the night of the session.
