What to Bring
Here's what you should plan to bring to UofL's Cards Camp...
A large portion of Cards Camp will take place at the North Central 4-H Camp located in Carlisle, KY, about 2 hours outside of Louisville. Cabins are equipped with twin bunk-beds, air conditioning, electricity, and private changing spaces.
What to bring to 4-H Camp
Must-haves:
- Athletic shoes
- Shorts
- Long pants (for evenings)
- Sleepwear
- Undergarments and socks
- Shoes - outdoor shoes/tennis shoes
- Raincoat
- Sweatshirt/Light jacket
- Bedding - sleeping bag, sheet(s), blanket, pillow
- Water bottle
- Shower items - bath towel, wash cloth, soap, shampoo/conditioner, toothbrush & toothpaste, shower shoes
- Swimwear
- Sunscreen
- Prescription and/or over-the-counter medication
- Insect repellent
Nice-to-haves:
- Snacks
- Laundry bag
- Flashlight
- Backpack
What NOT to Bring:
- Electronic devices (phones are allowed, but should not be used during camp exercises)
- Alcohol/Illegal drugs
- Firearms/Weapons
- Personal valuables
