You are now a proud member of the Cardinal Family. There are so many things to learn about over the next several months. New Student, Transfer and Family Orientation will jump start your cardinal experience. Before you log into any of UofL's online services or e-mail, don't forget to activate your account.

Freshman: incoming first-time college students (If you are age 20 or older, please select transfer/adult orientation)

Transfer/Adult: incoming transfer and adult students

Family: families of first-time freshmen. Only submit if you are registering separately from your student. There is a place on the freshman registration form to submit two additional family members

Freshman Orientation: It is important for you to read all of the information on the Orientation website. Once you have reviewed the general information and the FAQ section, please decide as a family the top three dates for your orientation registration request. Remember once we receive your request and confirmation of payment it up to five business days to process. You will receive an electronic orientation registration confirmation to your UofL e-mail. For activation instructions, please visit louisville.edu/admissions/activate. This is critical to receiving important information from all UofL offices. Directly access your e-mail account at louisville.edu/email. If you have any e-mail/user ID/password problems, please contact the Help Desk at 502-852-7997 or helpdesk@louisville.edu. There is a place on the freshman registration form to submit up to two family members. If you have additional family members or your family members are registering for dates different from yours, they should submit the family registration.
