Wire Payment Instructions

(Use for both Fed Wire and ACH)

REF: Reference information should include the words "School of Music" in addition to the name of the individual that is expecting this payment and a project name.

NOTE: For ACH transfers, this is a CHECKING ACCOUNT.

The university receives many wire transactions every day.  We are completely dependent upon the information included in the transaction for identifying the purpose and recipient of the funds—neither our bank, nor the Assistant Treasurer’s Office receive any other information about the transaction. If you do not know project name please contact the School of Music's Business Office manager at: paul.detwiler@louisville.edu . Also, email when your bank is sending the funds and give where the payment is to be applied such as a department name and/or a contact name.
