Steve Noble

Steve Noble is a part-time instructor at the School of Music where he teaches evening and weekend courses in music history for non-majors. Mr. Noble also serves as Policy Analyst for the Kentucky Assistive Technology Service (KATS) Network, a state agency serving the needs of Kentuckians with disabilities who benefit from assistive technology. He holds a variety of posts at the state and national level, including President of the Learning Disabilities Association of Kentucky and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Information Technologies and Disabilities, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Unit of Recording for the Blind and Dyslexic as well as the National Board of the Learning Disabilities Association of America. Mr. Noble was the primary originating drafter of two important state laws relating to education for people with disabilities, the Accessible Textbook Act of 2002, and the Kentucky Post secondary Textbook Accessibility Act of 2003.
