Guitar Ensemble - Classical
Minor Ensemble
The University of Louisville Classical Guitar Ensemble is the primary ensemble performance experience for classical guitar majors and principals at the School of Music. Typically classical guitar ensembles consist of guitar duets, trios, and quartets, although sometimes the ensemble will perform works with as many as eight to ten players. The classical guitar ensemble performs literature from the Renaissance period through the present, and programs are always a mixture of transcriptions as well as works originally composed for guitar ensembles.
