Brass Chamber Ensemble

Brass Chamber music is designed to give the student musician the opportunity to learn important small ensemble skills and the chamber music repertoire. Groups are organized into brass trios, quartets and quintets. University of Louisville student brass ensembles have toured internationally and received awards at many chamber music competitions and festivals. While many ensembles perform on UofL's campus, they are also encouraged to make appearances in the local community and beyond. Student brass ensembles frequently collaborate with faculty and guest artists in both performance and workshop atmospheres. Recent guests have included the American Brass Quintet, St. Louis Brass Quintet, U.S. Army Brass Quintet and other notable ensembles.
