International Brass Chamber Music Festival

From October 11 through October 14, 2008, Louisville Brass and the University of Louisville School of Music hosted the International Brass Chamber Music Festival. The festival featured Spanish Brass; Øystein Baadsvik , tuba; Proteus 7; Sonus Brass; Louisville Brass; Appalachian Brass Orchestra; and composers Lauren Bernofsky, Clint Needham, and Britton Theurer. In addition, Undergraduate and Graduate/Professional Brass Quintet Competitions were conducted. Bill Jones and BrassChamberMusic.com provided the organization and financial ownership of the event.
