Thursdays: Private Lessons will be held two times a month on the Belknap Campus. All lessons are one hour in length, meeting twice a month. Call Ms. McClure directly to arrange a lesson time: 615-406-4893.

$600/semester
The Angel's Harp Method is a beginning curriculum designed by Carol McClure to teach Harp School students, employing classical European harp technique; aural training, sight reading, sight singing, music theory, music history and improvisation are all integral components of the method. All students may begin study using two-octave harps with concert tension and string spacing. The Angel's Harp Method has been in continuous development for thirty years with a proven track record of success throughout the United States.

 

 

The Harp School ABRSM Program (2 hours/month) Carol McClure teaching
$800/semester
The Harp School ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Program is designed for advancing harp students. All students follow the proscribed technical methodology of Grossi, Pozzoli, Bochsa, Naderman and the Russian Harp School, as well as studying and performing advancing repertoire, mastering scales and arpeggios, sight reading, aural training and music theory, guided by the ABRSM syllabus. Students sit ABRSM examinations each semester for objective verification of progress.
