Alumni Fellow Award - An annual given to alumni who are leaders in their professional
fields. Nominations are from the academic colleges and schools, which
are approved by the Alumni Association Executive Board of Directors and
then by the University Board of Trustees. They accept an invitation by
the president to return to campus to share their expertise with
students, faculty, and administrators. The award is a crystal medallion
mounted on a black onyx base engraved with their name and year of
presentation.
Alumni Service Award
- These awards are presented each fall to alumni who have provided
exceptional volunteer service to the university. Awards are presented
to an alumnus/a, representing each academic unit the evening before the
Homecoming Football Game. Selection of the recipients is made by the
individual Alumni Association Unit Councils.
Distinguished Alumni Award
- This award is presented annually to alumni who have distinguished
themselves through outstanding professional accomplishments in their
career fields. No more than ten awards are given annually. Selections
of the recipients are made by the individual academic units.
