How to Schedule a Tour of The School of Music music building front steps

How to Schedule a Campus Visit and Tour

To schedule a campus tour of the University of Louisville, please contact the main Office of Admissions web site at http://admissions.louisville.edu/visit.

There is also an online tour available for most University buildings, but the School of Music is not included. This tour can be found at http://www.louisville.edu/ur/onpi/campus-tour.

Directions to the School of Music

For those with a GPS, the School of Music is located at 38 degrees, 13 minutes north latitude and 85 degrees, 45 minutes west.
The latitude is 38° 13' 10.578" or 38.2196048
The longitude is -85° 45' 31.6224" or -85.7587838

 

From I-64 or I-71

  • Take I-65 South.
  • Get off on the Arthur Street exit and continue to the first stop sign (the intersection of Arthur Street and Brandeis Avenue).
  • Turn right and continue two 2 1/2 blocks, Brandeis will turn into Cardinal Boulevard.
  • Get in the far left turning lane and watch for the first sign into the campus (the North Entrance).
  • Once you have turned left into the North Entrance, The School of Music will be on the right corner.
    The Information Parking Center will be straight ahead at the T intersection.

From I-65 North

I-65 North Exit 133B for Eastern Parkway west will be closed at 7 p.m., Aug. 17. The closure includes Warnock Avenue between Crittenden Drive and Arthur Street. Hahn Street between Eastern Parkway and Floyd Street also will be closed. Drivers will not be able to access Floyd Street from Eastern Parkway via Hahn Street.

The projected reopening is set for 6 a.m., Aug. 31, weather permitting.

The state has designated this detour around the I-65/Warnock closure:

  • Take Exit 133A at Eastern Parkway
  • Turn Left on Bradley Avenue
  • Turn Left on East Brandeis
  • Brandeis will turn into Cardinal Boulevard.
  • Get in the far left turning lane and watch for the first sign into the campus (the North Entrance).
  • Once you have turned left into the North Entrance, The School of Music will be on the right corner.
    The Information Parking Center will be straight ahead at the T intersection.
