Waiver through documentation

Acceptable documentation includes

  1. Transcript that show that the student attended two or more years in an institution (High school and above) located outside of the United States where the primary language of instruction was other than English.
  2. Test results showing that the student has earned the following scores on the TOEFL  or STAMP 4s (Spanish) exams

213 or higher on the computer-based test,                    Sore of 3 (Novice High) in at least three skills for the Bachelor of Science degree

79 or higher on the internet-based test                          Sore of 4 (Intermediate Low) in at least three skills for the Bachelor of Arts degree

550 or higher on the paper-based test


You must submit the Application for Foreign Language Waiver Form and the appropriate supporting documentation in person in HUM 332.
