World Scholars Program

NSEP Boren Program
Up to $20,000 for a full year of study in countries identified as critical to U.S. national security. Preference is given to students who make a commitment to a career in federal service. DEADLINE: February 12, 2012 (for undergraduate Boren scholarship); January 30, 2012 (Boren Fellowship for graduate students).

Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship
Up to $5000 ($8000 for students studying critical languages) for up to a semester of study abroad. Applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant or provide proof that they will be receiving a Pell Grant at the time of application or during the term of their study abroad. DEADLINE: October 9, 2011 (for Spring study abroad.) .
