Basic Language Requirement classes count towards major.

* This class is currently offered only online. This will require additional tuition.

**Entry to the ASLIS major requires functional fluency in ASL and basic interpreting competencies. The final exam in this class will serve as the ASLIS screening process, which determines a student's eligibility to enter the program the following fall.

NOTE:Because there are changes within the University regarding graduation requirements such as General Education, Major courses, etc., it is advisable that you meet with the College of Arts and Science and the ASL Interpreting Studies each year.  This will enable all of us to be aware of what classes you are taking and what you will need to take in order to graduate.
