Malevolence, Pink Establishes Itself in a Blue Landscape, Love, in the Process of Shredding (digital photography)

Sometimes my camera slips out between patients or at the end of the day, and I take pictures of two fountains outside my office. I was first struck by the little white lines, or "caustics," that appear on the water. The eye completely misses these details, but the camera captures them—because it stops time. And then there is the matter of finding the colors lurking within the sunlight shining on the water. The result is an infinite set of visual ideas. These images are works in a series entitled Waterworks.
