Medical Student Rotations

The Department of Urology welcomes medical students wishing to complete clinical rotations. Information detailing our urology rotations can be found under the Clinical Phase Curriculum link on our site.  

Students seeking to discuss research, clinical rotations, or career exploration should UofL Student Affairs office at 502-852-6183 or click here for more information.

Applications of students wishing to investigate a career in urology will be presented to the program director of the department for review.  It may be necessary for the student to meet with the program director prior to approval of the rotation request.  Once approved/denied, the student will receive notification from the student affairs office. 

Upon approval, students should contact the Department of Urology academic office at 502-588-4746 no later than two (2) weeks prior to their scheduled rotation for locations and contact numbers of attendings and/or residents they will be working with.
