The Department of Urology is the newest clinical department at the University of Louisville.

We take pride in providing high-quality, evidence-based urologic health care based on state-of-the-art knowledge and procedures.  The department currently includes specialists in General Urology, Pediatric Urology, and Urologic Oncology and we are actively recruiting additional faculty with specialties in Pediatric Urology, Urologic Trauma and Reconstruction, Endourology, and Female Urology.

We are committed to developing a top tier urologic residency program that will carry on the tradition of excellence established in the past.  Our goal is to re-establish a Urology residency program at the University of Louisville within the next one to two years.

In addition to our efforts in patient care and medical education, our faculty is also active in clinical and translational research.  Our aim is to continuously innovate and refine our practice based on this work.
