Dr. Elizabeth Katzman is Senior Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Supervisor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Speech-Language Pathology. She has held this position at the University of Louisville since May, 2003 and enjoys teaching and supervising graduate students in their various practicum placements. She teaches the following graduate level courses: Clinical Methods, Medical Speech Pathology, and team teaches Survey and Professional Issues.
Dr. Katzman received her B.A. in Elementary Education, M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology, and Ed.D. in Urban Studies with concentrations in Supervision and Reading Instruction/Remediation from the University of Louisville.
Her background includes extensive experience in speech-language pathology, supervision, education, and literacy. She has worked with students age pre-Kindergarten through graduate school in various educational settings for more than 30 years. Dr. Katzman held part-time positions at Spalding University, Bellarmine University, and the University of Louisville prior to accepting her current position as Senior Speech-Language Pathologist, Clinical Supervisor, in the Division of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Louisville.
