Post-Graduate Year 2
PGY 2 CURRICULUM
Second year residents attend weekly didactics every Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until 5:00. The Psychopathology and Psychopharmacology Course continue during this year. Further development occurs as the residents begin seminars in human development and principles of psychotherapy. The spring semester heralds the beginning of theory courses in psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Second year residents continue to meet with the chairman for a weekly noon seminar. A psychiatrist also leads a process group for the class during this year.
