Dr. Erwin’s clinical service includes assessment of children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and psychiatric illnesses in collaboration with the Pediatric Department’s Child Evaluation Center.  She received her undergraduate degree in Nursing at Murray State University and her master’s degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University.   She obtained her medical degree at the University of Louisville.  Dr. Erwin completed her general psychiatry residency and child fellowship at Yale University.   She received her board certification in psychiatry in 2005.  In addition to her clinical service, Dr. Erwin lectures to medical students, general psychiatry residents and child fellows on topics related to childhood psychiatric illnesses and child development.
