Dr. Kensicki provides medication management and supportive psychotherapy in our outpatient service which includes treatment of opiate dependent patients with buprenorphine. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology at Colgate University and his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School. Dr. Kensicki completed his psychiatric residency training at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital. He received his board certification in psychiatry in 985 and his certification in addiction psychiatry in 1998. In addition to his clinical service, Dr. Kensicki lectures psychiatry residents on topics related to psychiatric emergencies and psychopharmacology.
