Kellye Singletary-Jones, M.D.
Dr. Singletary-Jones provides outpatient psychiatric services at the Veterans Administration Medical Center Community Based Out Patient Clinic (CBOC) and in the Mental Health Intensive Case Management Program (MHICM). She received her undergraduate degree from Prairie View A & M University. Dr. Singletary-Jones obtained her medical degree from the University of Louisville. She completed her psychiatric residency training at the University of Louisville where she was Chief Resident and received the Ruby and John Schwab Award for Academic Excellence. In addition to her clinical service, she precepted and supervised second year medical students and mentored undergraduate students interested in careers in psychiatry. Her career interests include cultural psychiatry and women’s mental health. Dr. Singletary-Jones is very involved in community activities including coordinating a free community health fair and youth mentoring. Her honors also include membership in Who’s Who in Black Louisville.
