Jennifer Le, M.D.

Dr. Le is the medical director and attending psychiatrist on the Ackerly Child Psychiatry Inpatient Unit at Kosair Children’s Hospital. She is responsible for the comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and disposition for children and adolescents hospitalized on this 20 bed acute care inpatient unit. Dr. Le received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and Philosophy at Georgetown College and completed graduate work in Chemistry at the University of Kentucky. She received her medical degree at the University of Louisville. Dr. Le completed her general psychiatry residency training and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Illinois, Chicago. She received her board certification in psychiatry in 2008 and in child and adolescent psychiatry in 2009. In addition to her clinical service, Dr. Le supervises psychiatry residents, medical students and child fellows during their child rotation on the inpatient unit. She is also active in the education of the psychology interns and child fellows. Dr. Le is an active participant in administrative and clinical committees throughout the department and on the university level.
