Farahieh Rabbani, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Rabbani provides outpatient psychiatric services at the Veterans Administration Medical Center Community Based Out Patient Clinic (CBOC). She obtained her medical degree from the University of Mashad School of Medicine, Mashad, Iran and completed post graduate training in physiology at Georgetown University. Dr. Rabbani completed her general psychiatry residency at the University of Louisville and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. She received her board certification in psychiatry in 1994. In addition to her clinical service, she supervises psychiatry residents and medical students during their VA rotation. Dr. Rabbani lectures on cultural issues in psychiatry.
