Dr. Barclay received his undergraduate degree in Physical Sciences from Oklahoma State University.  He obtained his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma and completed a rotating internship in internal medicine and ob/gyn at Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.   Dr. Barclay’s psychiatric residency was completed at the University of Cincinnati.  Upon completing his residency, he joined the faculty as an Instructor of Psychiatry where he was Coordinator of the Alcoholism Center.  Dr. Barclay received his board certification in psychiatry in 1994 and added certification in Adolescent Psychiatry in 1995 and added qualifications in Addiction Psychiatry in 1996.   Prior to joining the faculty in July, 2005 he was the Medical Director for Powder Basin Associates, a six site dual diagnosis outpatient treatment program serving five northern counties in Idaho.  In addition to his clinical duties, he precepts and supervises residents, and lectures to both residents and medical students.
