Seven Counties Services is the principal community mental health program for Louisville and the surrounding seven county region. It offers a comprehensive array of mental health services to the general population. There are four major Seven Counties outpatient facilities, as well as the Jefferson Alcohol and Drug Abuse Center, which offers both outpatient and inpatient services. The Seven Counties outpatient experience consists of assignment to one of the offices. The resident participates in diagnostic evaluations, staff conferences, and ongoing psychopharmacology and psychotherapy with selected patients at the Center, under the supervision of a psychiatrist.
