Clinical service responsibilities are organized to emphasize resident responsibility for case management and psychotherapy. The experiences are designed to emphasize increasing responsibility and autonomy of functioning as training progresses. Starting with inpatient experiences, ranging through a variety of consultation and ambulatory experiences, and concluding with opportunities for special interest and elective rotations, the training program assures that the clinical sequence offers residents the widest range of clinical opportunities.
