Post-Bac Pre-med Program for Career Changers
There's a program for college graduates interested in becoming a physician.
It's not too late for Medical School
College graduates and career changers who’ve decided to pursue their requirements for medical school can do so through the Post-Bac Pre-medical Certificate Program at the University of Louisville. This program is designed for college graduates with minimal pre-medical science courses (preferably 0-12 hours) or students who may have pursued a non-biology or non-chemistry degree. The program provides students with the necessary tools to become competitive medical school applicants and helps to navigate them through the entire medical school preparation process.
Program participants receive individualized advising; opportunities to shadow physicians, participate in scheduled community service activities, attend monthly enrichment workshops, receive MCAT preparation and much more!
This is a competitive program with approximately 15-20 openings per academic year, 7-10 spots per fall and spring semester. The preferred application deadline for the fall 2009 semester is July 1, 2009.
The extended deadline is July 31, 2009. Fall classes begin on August 24. Apply today for rolling admission!
