Simulation Lab Visits
The Paris Simulation Center is a state of the art facility that provides hands on training for professional students and health professionals. Please visit their website to learn more at http://louisville.edu/medschool/patientsimulation/.
The Paris Simulation Center has allowed us the opportunity to participate in hands-on demonstrations to learn some of the following procedures:
- Intubation
- Foley catheterization
- IV cannulation
- Blood drawing
- Cricothoratomy and lumbar puncture
- Various diagnostic response scenarios (like pneumothorax or poisoning)
A minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 students are allowed per session. Please sign up if you're interested/available to attend.
Report to the U of L School of Medicine on the Health Sciences Center Campus at 500 S. Preston Street, room 307. For more information, please call 502-852-4041. This is an informal setting and casual attire is fine.
