Program Orientation
Once you're accepted into the program, you become a part of our team with your advisor and fellow post-bac students sharing the same goal. You will have academic and professional support every step of the way!
Summer 2013 Student Roster and Semester Course Roster
Roster of currently enrolled students for the summer 2013 semester and the course roster will be posted soon. This can be used for fellow post-bac pre-meds to see who else is enrolled in their course. A great way to initiate study groups! The spring 2013 roster is currently posted.
Mentoring
Mentoring is important and can serve as a great resource for the mentee during their pre-med journey.
Semester Activity Schedule
A schedule of program activities for each semester including enrichment sessions, community service and other important dates.
Enrichment Sessions
One Saturday per month an enrichment session is held with a panel or special guest speakers discussing medical school preparation, health care issues or health related topics. Our students are required to attend at least half of the sessions each semester. These sessions are closed and strictly for currently enrolled certificate students.
Community Service
Community service projects are scheduled each semester. The summer 2013 community service schedule is posted. We will be serving at the Ronald McDonald House in June and July. No other group service projects will be scheduled this summer, but students are encouraged to seek out additional opportunities.
University of Louisville School of Medicine Visit
Our annual visits to the U of L School of Medicine are scheduled the Friday leading into Fall Break and Spring Break.
Simulation Lab Visits

Shadowing Opportunities
Shadowing opportunities will be announced via the listserv and some sign ups will be posted. These opportunities are exclusively for students in the program. Thanks.
Scribe Programs
The PhysAssist Scribe and ProScribe Programs are great job opportunities to gain clinical experience and be compensated for it. This is not just exclusively for our premed post-bac students. Any pre-health student may apply!
