How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in the University of Louisville Pediatric Residency Program. Each year, we accept approximately 20 categorical pediatric residents, 1 pediatric neurology resident and 5 Med-Peds residents. We accept residency applications at the PGY-1 level only. Applicants must receive their medical degree and successfully pass USMLE Part II and the Clinical Skills exam by the start of training.

Our program typically interviews Tuesdays and Thursdays, but Wednesdays are available occasionally. The interview day begins at 7:30am and is usually wrapping up around 2:00pm. This year, we will be interviewing on the following days:

*Categorical and Child Neurology candidates. Candidates interested in the Child Neurology residency are required to apply for both the Categorical AND Peds Prelim-Neurology residency programs through ERAS.
