Description of the Paris Simulation Center
The Paris Simulation Center is a 2,500 sq.ft. facility located in the Instructional Building at the School of Medicine. The Center has four simulation suites. Each suite contains a lab with a state-of-the-art mannequin-based simulator, a classroom and a control room. Additional clinical equipment and training devices further expand the capabilities of the Center. This page describes the training capabilities and equipment available at the Paris Simulation Center and the various applications and training activities supported by the Center, as well as the PSC mission statement, the floor plan of the Center, and selected photos from training sessions. It also contains a brief description of Dr. John M. and Dorothy S. Paris, for whom the Center is named.
The PSC floorplan shows four simulation labs and four classrooms. Two control rooms each serve two simulation labs and classrooms. As you enter the reception area, Control room one is on your left along with Labs one and two. Control room two is on your right along with Labs 3 and 4. Two classrooms are directly behind each control room for a total of four. The following link shows a diagram of the Paris Simulation Center.
