University of Louisville School of Medicine Directions
From I-64 west and I-71 south:
Take I-65 south.
Exit on the first ramp, Jefferson and Brook St. Take the ramp to Brook St.
Go one (1) block north, and turn right (east) on Market St.
Go two (2) blocks east, and turn right (south) on Preston St.
The Medical School is three (3) blocks, after Muhammad Ali Blvd (formerly Walnut St.), on the right. It is connected to the Dental School by a building overpass.
From I-65 north:
Exit on the Muhammad Ali Blvd exit. (At the end of the ramp, you will be right next to the medical school building.)
Take the first right, onto Floyd St. Go one (1) block north and turn right (east) onto Liberty.
Go one (1) block east and turn right (south) onto Preston St. Be careful to not get into the exit lane, or you will be back onto I-65.
The Medical School is the next block, after Muhammad Ali. Blvd on the right. It is connected to the Dental School by a building overpass.
Location:
The Office of Medical Education is located in room 305 of the Instructional Building.
The Dr. John M. and Dorothy S. Paris Simulation Center is located in room 307 of the Instructional Building.
The Standardized Patient Program Office is located in room 306 of the Instructional Building.
The Medical Education Research and Evaluation Unit is located in room 308 of the Instructional Building.
The Instructional building is on the right (north) side of the Medical School quadrangle, as you look from Preston St.
Parking:
There is street parking available with a four hour limit for meters. You can find additional parking in the Chestnut Street Garage adjacent to the University of Louisville Hospital.
There is limited public parking in the medical school garage – continue south on Preston PAST Chestnut and turn left after the Kidney Disease Program building.
