Drug response genotyping:
Our laboratory currently offers genotyping to
identify either a deficiency in drug metabolism or ultra-rapid
drug metabolism. Through genotyping three of the most important
drug metabolizing enzymes, cytochromes P450 2D6, 2C9 and 2C19
our laboratory can identify up to 95% of individuals who may
require dosage modification for a growing number of therapeutic
drugs.
Theraputic drug management:
This laboratory currently offers quantitation
of mycophenolic acid (MPA) and its glucuronide metabolite
(MPAG) in plasma.
