Dr. Mark W. Linder is Associate Professor of the Department
of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Dr. Linder serves as
the Assistant Director of Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology
at the University of Louisville Hospital and as Associate
Director of the Pharmacogenetics Diagnostic Laboratory within
the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Dr. Linder received his PhD degree at the University of
Louisville in Biochemistry (1992) and completed postdoctoral
fellowships in Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Toxicology
the University of Louisville. He joined the faculty in the
Department of Pathology in 1999.
Dr. Linder is a Fellow of the National Academy of Clinical
Biochemistry and serves on a number of committees for the
American Association for Clinical Chemistry. His scientific
interests include mechanisms for regulation of drug metabolism
and transitioning the science of both pharmacogenetics (PGx)
and proteomics into clinical laboratory practice.
