Patient Services
Our faculty provide patient services through University OB/GYN Associates and University GYN/OB Foundation, both part of University Women's HealthCare. We provide patient-centered care, sensitive to the needs of women of all ages, regardless of income.

Our 7 subspecialties include the full spectrum of gynecologic services:
- General OB/GYN
- General gynecology and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery
- Pediatric and adolescent gynecology
- Maternal fetal medicine and obstetrics
- Reproductive endocrinology and infertility
- Gynecologic oncology
- Urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery
In addition, we provide women's mental health services through the Department's Mind-Body Center, founded in 2005 and directed by D. Sheila Ward, APRN, CNM, PMHNP. Our patients can receive treatment and guidance for common emotional disturbances. Residents have the opportunity to gain experience working with real-world mental health issues.
Our recently refurbished facilities include:
- An in-house central laboratory and medical imaging services
- The Ultrasound Center - state-of-the-art technology in diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound, including a 3-D ultrasound
- Bone mineral density testing services
