Division of Gynecologic Oncology
The faculty of the Gynecologic Oncology Division are expert in both invasive and pre-invasive disease and procedures and contribute both clinical expertise and academic knowledge to residents and students. This team of exceptionally qualified health-care professionals guides the Gynecologic Oncology Program, skilled in the very latest clinical modalities and constantly enhanced by both basic science and clinical research.
Our practice is part of a growing, world-class medical center in the heart of downtown Louisville, where we are surrounded by hospitals, medical offices, research laboratories and biotechnology companies. A major partner is the James Graham Brown Cancer Center, providing us with some of the most sophisticated diagnostic and therapeutic equipment in the world, as well as first-class lab space.
Research
Our research focuses on the treatment of endometrial, cervical, ovarian, and vulvar cancers, as well as cervical dysplasia and gestational trophoblastic disease. We offer carefully chosen and monitored regional and national research trials, as medically appropriate, to ensure patient access to leading-edge therapies.
Education
We are actively involved in medical student and resident education.
Clinical Service
The clinical services of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology are provided through University OB/GYN Associates and University GYN/OB Foundation, which are part of University Women's HealthCare. Our services are provided in the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
