This project examines the role of insulin in the regulation of sensitin, cleaved upon insulin stimulation to act as a transcription factor for insulin responsive genes.

This project seeks to utilize proteomic methods such as two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and mass spectrometry to identify and develop biomarkers of aminoglycoside nephrotoxicity in newborns.

Title- “Role of Hsp27 in regulation of Neutrophil apoptosis”
The aims of this project are to study Hsp27 function modulating inflammation via its scaffolding of upstream activators of Akt and its regulation of neutrophil apoptosis.
