Core Proteomics Facility
Oversee
  1. proteomic projects submitted by collaborators, grant subcontract, and fee-for-service customers and
  2. conduct methods optimization experiments.  Identify, evaluate and vet hardware such as MALDI TOF mass spectrometers and software such as Nonlinear Dynamics Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) software for use by the core lab.
Conduct original research with emphasis topics of-
  1. murine mesangial cell proteomic map and
  2. develop methods or tools to reduce over abundant proteins (i.e. affinity resin based methods to reduce albumin in serum or urine).
