Techniques
Molecular Biology: RNA isolation, genomic and restriction fragment DNA isolation, qualitative and quantitative analysis of DNA, deletion mutations, PCR amplification and RT-PCR.
Biochemical Techniques: Assay of various enzymes, protein purification, radioisotopic transports of Pi, L-Proline, and D-Glucose in BBMVs, preparation and purification of polyclonal antibodies, immunoprecipitation, electrophoresis, immunoblot techniques, plasma membrane preparations,SDS-PAGE, densitometry, Confocal microscopy, enzyme kinetics, spectrophotometry
Tissue Culture: Preparative techniques in tissue culture, maintenance of eukaryotic and insect cell lines, transient and stable transfection procedures using Geneporter.
Virology: Isolation of viral DNA and RNA from serum, nested RT-PCR, and PCR.
