2010 Student Awards and Accomplishments!  Ashley Triplett (Suttles) received an AAI Trainee Abstract Award, Yanfang Zhu (Suttles) was awarded an American Heart Association Pre-doctoral Fellowship, Juhi Bagaitkar (Scott) was selected for a talk at the annual American Association for Dental Research conference in Washington D.C., and Abhishek Srivastava (Shirwan) was awarded a CODRE Research Grant! Juhi Bagaitkar, Shravan Madireddi, Rich-Henry Schabowky, Colleen Tucker finished their dissertations and received their Ph.D.s!!! CONGRATULATIONS!

MISO Objectives

The objectives of the organization shall be:

• To discuss graduate students’ issues and concerns, and bring them to the faculty
• To support students in coursework and candidacy exam preparation
• To promote group activities
• To encourage feedback and suggestions to improve graduate program
• To enhance student-faculty relations
